Main Activities
WAVES OF OPPORTUNITY develops an integrated set of actions designed to generate impact at individual, community, and European level.
The project supports young people directly, while also strengthening the broader surf ecosystem.
Throughout the 36 months, partners will implement:
Surf instructor certification programmes for NEETs
Eco-surf entrepreneurship training and mentoring
International Online Training of Trainers (ToT) for surf professionals
Development of a Digital Educational Toolkit on sustainable surf tourism
Socioeconomic research on surf tourism and best practices
Erasmus Surf Camp exchanges and thematic workshops
Environmental awareness initiatives, including ocean-focused events
Establishment of the EU Surf Lab as a networking and innovation platform
All activities are designed to promote inclusion, green skills, and long-term employability in the surf and sustainable tourism sectors.
